Nov. 2015 Newsletter
Phil’s Ponderings: I believe that Jesus knew the art of asking powerful questions. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus asked many different questions, which often challenged his listeners to think more deeply and live more faithfully according to the reality of God’s present kingdom.
Rosie’s Reflections: …our imaginations ran wild as we wondered what would happen next to Billy and Tilly Wigglewog, along with their dog Wigglewags.
Katherine’s Candor: And yet it seems that for every miraculous, heart-melting moment, there are at least three that are nerve-wracking, messy, and “hair-tearingly” frustrating.
Grace’s Goodies: Tomato, Sausage & Cheddar Bread Pudding
Devotional: Now, during the recent Year of the Bible, I read through the Bible again….some 50 years after I read through the Bible for the first time. Only this time it was planned and explained and studied and done along with my Tabor Church family.

Changes at the Tabor Church Nursery
With the expanding of the toddler nursery and addition of a nursing room above, we have developed some new guidelines to help.
The nursing room is available via the stairs at the back of the sanctuary. Upstairs you will find
- · A changing table (some diapers and wipes are in the drawers, if needed)
- · Nursing rocking chairs
- · A crib for sleeping babies
The newly expanded toddler nursery is available for children 3 years old and younger. Some changes/additions include
- · A fold out changing table in the bathroom (wipes are available to clean the table after use)
- · Some diapers and wipes on the bathroom counter for guests or in case parents need an extra
- · Ceiling fan (with a wall switch)
- · A mesh bag located in the bathroom for dirty/chewed on toys so that they can be cleaned
- · Coming Soon: storage space for toys and diapers bags, drink cups, etc. so that they can be off the floor.

Blood Mobile: The individuals who take time out of their busy schedules to donate their blood are very much appreciated!! The need of blood continues to be high, so Red Cross is trying something new this drive on October 20. It is an Express Drive with only 2 beds and 1 nurse. You are asked to try RapidPass. Before you arrive at the church visit redcrossblood.org/RapidPass. There you can read the information and answer the questions. Print the pass and bring it with you, or show it on your mobile device. This will eliminate the question time at the drive. RapidPass cannot be completed prior to the date of the drive. If you do not have it with you in paper or on your mobile device you will have to complete the questions again. RapidPass will speed up the blood donation process, but it does not take the place of scheduling an appointment. Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org to schedule your appointment for the Express Drive.
