Sunday, March 17: Congregational meeting following the worship service to affirm Rosie Jantz as Associate Pastor of Education and Pastoral Care.

Saturday, March 16:

Peace Pies and Prophets is on tour and coming to McPherson Opera House (219 South Main Street, McPherson, KS) on March 16, 2013 at 7:00pm. VIP tickets for premier seating available online or by calling 620-241-1952. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Christian Peacemaker Teams. General admission to the event is free!

Centered around a live performance of I’d Like to Buy an Enemy , starring Ted Swartz and Tim Ruebke, the show unpacks issues of justice and peace building through humorous and poignant storytelling. The evening will also include music from the husband and wife duo “Road Less Travelled”. (Tabor’s own Doug and Jude Krehbiel!)

This interactive event is for people interested in engaging in laughter, thoughtful dialogue and pie. Yes, Peace Pies… The evening includes a hand crafted pie auction where pie sale proceeds will go toward the support of Christian Peacemaker Teams. www.cpt.org In the last year, Peace Pies and Prophets has toured across the US, raising over $70,000 Christian Peacemaker Teams!

This event gives participants an opportunity to engage in the ongoing story of God’s restorative work in our world and our neighborhood. It is an event that speaks across denominations, generations and backgrounds, for people who aim to be the change we seek.

position of Associate Pastor of Education and Pastoral Care.

10:45 a.m.—Open Q/A with Rosie Jantz, in the sanctuary.

Sunday School for children ages 2 through Jr. High.
